About the Owner

I’m Nicole, I have a Master’s in Biology and a degree in Environmental Science, paired with 10 years in the horticulture industry. I'm always on the hunt for opportunities that excite me which has led me to have lots of fun experiences such as monitoring raptor migrations, tracking tree swallow nesting seasons, recording amphibians, and leading birding and naturalist groups.
I am a home gardener located in Southern Ontario. Through my work in horticulture, I have helped countless people make landscaping choices that fit their lifestyles and environment.

Education is at the heart of everything I do. I love breaking down gardening concepts in a way that feels approachable, practical, and tailored to each unique space. Through thoughtful design, one-on-one consulting, and hands-on guidance, I help people create gardens that support native wildlife while still being functional and beautiful. I believe that when people understand their soil, plants, and environment, they’re better equipped to make sustainable choices that benefit both their garden and the ecosystems around them.
Gardening is a constant journey, and everybody's garden is a different world. I'd love to help you get to know yours!
